Phil has a wealth of expertise and extensive experience in finance, lending, business, and educational training based on a career spanning over 35 years in the mortgage and finance broking industry. Phil understands the intricacies of the industry and what it takes for professionals to thrive and differentiate themselves in a competitive market.
As well as industry qualifications including a Certificate IV in Financial Services (Finance/Mortgage Broking) and a Diploma of Finance and Mortgage Broking Management, Phil holds a Diploma of Training Design and Development (Training and Assessing), and an Advanced Diploma of Business. The combination of these, coupled with his comprehensive expertise and hands-on experience, enables him to deliver mentoring support that resonates with participants and drives tangible results.
Phil is an Executive Manager at elevateB Pty Ltd, an educational training provider specialising in professional development and training courses. With over a decade of experience, elevateB has been instrumental in designing and delivering cutting-edge programs to empower individuals and businesses with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in their respective fields.
elevateB was entrusted by the FBAA to develop an innovative online program tailored for new-to-industry Mortgage Brokers - the FBAA Mentoring Program. Phil was the lead for this initiative.
The FBAA Mentoring Program
Crafted under Phil’s guidance, the FBAA Mentoring Program equips mentees with essential skills, knowledge, and tools crucial for success in the mortgage broking industry. The program provides a structured framework to fulfil the mandatory two-year mentoring industry requirement, ensuring mentees receive comprehensive training and support. Delivered through an interactive online platform, participants benefit from flexible learning opportunities tailored to accommodate their schedules and preferences. The program curriculum comprises a blend of readings, multimedia content, discussion forums, activities, and quizzes, offering a holistic learning experience.
Recognising the value of ongoing learning, the FBAA has allocated CPD points for the Mentoring Program, further underscoring its relevance and significance in the professional development landscape.
