For clubs, managing teams in today’s streamlined, fast-paced, less formal world is vastly different from the past's conformist, hierarchical ways. Club managers must lead teams whose members work together; rather than as individual, independent performers, to achieve challenging goals. The ability to nurture high-performing teams in clubs and empower them to work effectively with reduced management input and supervision is a key skill of today’s club managers.

 

The aim is to achieve synergy, where the ability of the whole is more than the sum of the individual parts.

 

During the webinar, we will cover the following:​

 

• ​What is a Team - understanding what it truly means to be a team and recognising the different elements that go into being a high-functioning unit. 

• Team Performance Plans - determining how your team is to operate and how to direct your team to prosper.
